Azra has been a wedding photographer for over 16 years. Although weddings are her main focus, she also shoots families, events, food, headshots, cooperate and commercial work and have done a few high fashion shoots as well.
Defining my style as fine art wedding photography moving forward means that I take great care and attention in creating beautiful art-like images that are well thought out and often look editorial - like they could grace the cover of a luxury magazine. It means I’m an expert at using natural light to soften my images, I’m inspired by the look of timeless film and focus on details and moment that are both planned, and unplanned.

Inspired by a family of passionate gardeners and with six years of experience working in local flower shops, Laurie opened Hen & Chicks in the spring of 2009. Her first project - a garden design and installation - led her on a journey of self-discovery and ultimately turned her passion into her career.
When Laurie is not immersed in designing for weddings or barefoot in the garden, she seeks inspiration from her surroundings - in the mountains, in the desert, or on the coast.
